The wind was gusting at 50 mph, but the light just prior to sunset, dramatic clouds blowing by, and a barrel cactus in bloom was more than enough motivation to experience this exercise in patience. I was truly amazed at my success in capturing this moment with each fragment of vegetation frozen.
